Challenge/Reto- A Little Baroque

We can't stop smiling! The weather is just so perfect right now...a little bit of wind, a little bit of rain and lots of cold! It finally feels like fall/winter here for us...we hope everyone is staying cozy!


This look was part of another challenge we participated in hosted by the lovely ladies at Nany's Klozet, Flor De Maria Fashion and Ashes into Fashion. The challenge was to wear something "baroque". Liz was traveling out of the country so we wanted the look to have that baroque element but also be versatile for her trip. The top was our main star in the look, a large scale black and white traditional print offering that baroque touch but in a more casual feel. Taking advantage of the neutral colors in the top we added these red colored skinnies, and although they are bright and bold they are also a great transitioning color for fall/winter. We finished off the look with the faux leather jacket, cute tweed flats and a few silver accessories.

Balancing "comfort" and "cute" in a travel outfit can sometimes be a challenge... don't you think? Which is more important to you?

El clima esta perfecto hoy...y no podemos dejar de sonreir! Con este frio ya se siente como invierno...esperamos que todas se mantengan calientitas!

Participamos una vez mas en el reto que organizaron las lindas chicas de Nany's Klozet, Flor De Maria Fashion y Ashes into Fashion. El reto consistio de utilizar una prenda con estilo "barroco".  Esta vez Liz estaria viajando fuera del pais por lo cual quisimos que el look tuviera el elemento barroco al igual que fuera lo suficientemente comodo para su viaje. La blusa fue neustra prenda principal, con un estampado grande y tradicional en blanco y negro creando este estilo barroco pero en una prenda mas casual. A la blusa neutral le agregamos estos pantalones color rojo, y aunque son un poco brillante tambien son un buen color para usar en otoño/invierno. Ternminamos el look con una chaqueta de cuero en negro, estos lindos zapatos con detalle y accesorios color plata.

Mantener un balance de "comodo" y "lindo" al vestirte cuando vas a viajar puede ser un reto...no crees? Cual es mas importante para ti?
