Sol Sisters-A Stroll in Paradise

Hello Dolls...Its Friday and the weekend is here! This past weekend Sol Sisters were in Honolulu, Hawaii for a friends wedding and we took advantage of being in such a beautiful city and did a few shoots. This particular evening we met up with a dear friend of ours who lives there and we went out to dinner with the group...it felt so good to just be in great company and in such a beautiful place that for dinner it was so appropriate to just celebrate life! 

For this look we wanted to invoke that resort/vacation feel. We think it's important to feel comfortable and relaxed when your vacationing on a beach. In a place like this fussy attire isn't always the way to go. The cobalt blue dress was an amazing find days before our trip and it was perfect because even though its a dressier look the relaxed silhouette really made it  appropriate for dinner and comfortable enough to take a stroll in Waikiki. To add that dressier feel for dinner we paired the dress with these cognac leather strap heels and studded clutch in the same color family. To finalize the look we added simple yet bold gold accessories to create points of interest to the outfit.

Hola Lindas...Por fin llego el fin de semana! Este pasado fin de semana Sol Sisters estubieron en Honolulu, Hawaii para una boda de un amigo y aprovechamos que estabamos en un lugar tan hermoso que decidimos tener un par de sesiones de fotos. Esta tarde en particular nos juntamos con un amigo nuestro muy querido que vive alli  y salimos todos a cenar...nos sentiamos de maravilla simplemente al estar en gran compania en un lugar tan bello que durante la cena se nos hizo muy appropiado el celebrar esta hermosa vida!

Para este look quisimos invocar el sentir de estar de vacaciones. Nosotras cremos que es importante el sentirte comoda y relajada cuando estas de vacaciones en un lugar con playa. El vestido color cobalto fue una gran compra que hicimos dias antes del viaje y realmente ideal porque aunque lo largo es un poco mas formal, lo relajado de la silueta lo hizo muy apropiado para ir a cenar y comodo para dar un paseo por Waikiki. Para crear ese look mas formal combinamos unas zapatillas de cuero color cognac con un bolso con tachuelas de color parecido. Para finalizar el look agregamos unos accesorios en color dorado para crear mas interes al look.
