One Piece Three Ways- Pleated Skirt

This past week I did some online shopping and I came across this beauty! I couldn't resist the fact that it was a beautiful cobalt blue and pleated. It is from Simply Be, a plus size online store with some great things. The skirt is now on sale for $29.00!

I love the fact that it can easily be used in a casual look with a tucked in graphic tee and flats or a glittery top and heels. Below I have styled it three different ways that can easily be worn to work, a date and to a formal event.

Esta semana pasada hice unas compras por el internet y me encontre a esta belleza! No pude resistir la combinacion del color azul cobalto y lo plegado de la falda. La falda es de la tienda Simply Be, una tienda de tallas grandes y esta en offerta a solo $29.00!

Me encanta la idea de poder lucir la falda en un look casual con una camiseta grafica y zapatos planos o mas formal con una blusa de lentejuela y zapatillas.  He creado tres looks differentes que facilmente se pueden en el trabajo, una cita amorosa y a un evento formal.

A Little bit of Lace...

We are so happy it is Monday since it's our time to share our outfit for the week. The outfit for this week is fun, unexpected, flirty with a touch of lace. The outfit started off with the beautiful and fun skirt Liz bought on her recent trip to Mexico- Zapotlanejo, Jalisco to be exact. The shoes were an additional purchase from the Mexico trip and added the extra edge that Sol Sisters love to add to their outfits when appropriate :)

The H&M jacket gave the outfit a more masculine balance, and the pendant earrings added a glamorous touch in contrast to all of the different elements. 

We also wanted to give the jacket, the skirt, and the shoes a more versatile look and we decided to pair them with a J-Lo style of hat. We definitely think beauty is in the eye of the beholder and wanted to provide different options to better visualize the different alternatives the look can have.

Estamos felices de que es Lunes y podemos compartir nuestro look para la semana! El outfit para esta semana es divertido, inesperado, "encajoso", y coqueto. El outfit se formo primeramente con la falda que Liz compro en su reciente viaje a Mexico-Zapotlanejo, Jalisco para ser exactos. Los zapatos fueron una compra adicional en su viaje a Mexico. Los zapatos anadieron un estilo mas atrevido lo cual es un toque especial que Sol Sisters tienen. La chamarra de H&M le dio un toque masculino, y los aretes anadieron un look glamoroso a todas los elementos del outfit. 

Al mismo tiempo, Sol Sisters le dieron al outfit un look mas versatil al combinarlo con un sombrero estilo J-Lo. Sol Sisters reconoce que la belleza esta en el espectador por lo cual quisimos ofrecerles diferentes opciones para poder visualizar mejor las alternativas diferentes que el look puede tener.
