Fashion Week + Sequin

Hi Loves...Today we bring you a look Liz wore to Phoenix Fashion Week! It was such a fun experience and we both met so many great people. When picking a look for the show we wanted to have a glam effect with out overdoing it so when we came across this fun sparkly mini we knew it was the perfect starting point. When selecting a top we wanted to do a bold color that wouldn't wash out with all the sequin so when we found this navy chiffon blouse with gold button details we knew it was exactly what we wanted. The bold color and pattern in the heels and gold accessories finished off the look.

We both had a great time styling this outfit for the show and were happy to hear others like it too (especially that sequin mini). Our next post will be all about our experience at Phoenix Fashion Week 2012...stay tuned!

Hola amores...Hoy les traemos un look que Liz uso para Phoenix Fashion Week! Fue un experiencia muy divertida para las dos donde pudimos conocer y convivir con gran personas. Cuando llego el momento de escojer un look para el evento queriamos que tuviera un effecto glam y cuando encontramos esta divertida y brillante mini sabiamos que seria un perfecto comienzo. Al escojer un top quisimos un color fuerte que no se perdiera entre toda la lentejuela de la mini, y al encontrar la blusa chifon en azul marino con el detalle de botones color dorado nos encanto la combinacion. El color fuerte y estampado en las zapatillas y los accesorios dorados completaron el look.

Las dos tuvimos un gran tiempo preparando este outfit para el evento y felizes de escuchar que a otras personas tambien les gusto (especialmente la mini de lentejuela). El proximo post sera dedicado a nuestra experiencia en Phoenix Fashion Week 2012...mantente al tanto!

Feeling A Bit Floral

Even though we are still in summer here in the Phoenix valley...our mindset is definitely approaching fall. As we got ready to style this look we were definitively in a laid back kind of mood. The starting point for this outfit were the cool floral jeans Liz just purchased and pairing it with the solid white chiffon blouse was a perfect contrast. Not tucking in the shirt and adding the oxford shoes clearly stated a more relaxed look. To finish off  we added some bold silver accessories. Our surprise factors were definitely the neon pink top underneath the blouse and the bright textured bag Liz purchased in Mexico a few years back.

Aunque aqui en el valle de Phoenix todavia es verano...nuestra mente ya se esta preparando para el otono. Las dos estabamos en un animo muy relajado y quisimos mantener ese sentido con el outfit. La pieza que inspiro este look fueron los jeans con el estampado de flores que Liz recien compro. Combinamos los jeans con esta blusa solida de chiffon en color blanco creando un perfecto contraste entre las dos piezas. Al no meter la blusa dentro de los jeans y agregar unos zapatos oxford claramente definen un look mas relajado. Para terminar incorporamos unos accessorios plateados. Nuestros factores sorpresa definitivamente fueron la camiseta color rosa neon debajo de la blusa y la bolsa con un bordado brillante que Liz compro en Mexico ase unos anos atras.
