Hello dolls!!!! Happy Sunday! Our most sincere apologies for being absent this past week. Inez and I have been tied up with other projects but definitely coming back with this last post which we love!!!. Also, on a side note...the Sol Sisters have a instagram account where we post our daily outfits and photos of what is going on in our day. Come on over, visit our account, and "follow" us :) 

On to today's outfit! We started off the urban outfitters Bruce Lee t-shirt! We wanted the outfit to have an edygy-fun look. We added the metallic vest, the boyfriend jeans with the nice Kelsi Dagger heels. I have to say I love these black pumps, the detail on the side, the height of the heel, and the material overall make any outfit look better. The oversized leather clutch and earrings gave the final touches to the outfit. Share with us your edgy-fun looks of the season!

Hola munecas! Feliz Domingo! mil disculpas por haber desaparecido esta ultima semana. Inez y yo hemos estado ocupadas con otros proyectos pero estamos aqui de regreso con nuestro ultimo post...el cual nos ha fascinado! Tambien, les queremos contar que tenemos una cuenta en Instagram en donde subimos fotos diariamente de nuestros outfits del dia. Vayan a visitarnos, y siguenos! :)

Para el outfit de hoy, nuestro punto de inicio fue la camiseta de Bruce Lee. Queriamos que el outfit tuviera un look ligero y divertido. Anadimos el chaleco de color metalico, los jeans de novio, y las zapatillas de Kelsi Dagger. Tengo que decir que me fascinan mis zapatillas negras, el detalle de diseno en  los lados, la altura de el tacon, y el material en general hacen que cualquier outfit se vea mejor. El bolso grande y los aretes le dieron el toque final al outfit. Comparte con nosotros tu outfit de estilo ligero y divertido para esta temporada!

THE SOL SISTERS STYLE- ARMY PRINT ON BLACK

The sunsets seem to get prettier around here and the night's sky quickly follows. We love this time of year and being able to enjoy our neighboorhoods even more. We took a stroll in downtown the other evening and found a cute little area to snap some pictures of Liz's outfit and catch that sunset.

These army skinny jeans are such a great fit! The versatility that they offer to be dressed up or dressed down have us all excited for more of them as we get more into fall. This time around we decided to dress up the printed jeans and pair it with a embelished collar chiffon blouse and these super fun Kelsi Dagger patent pumps. The bag is the newest addition to the bag closet, a purchase done at the bran spanking new ZARA that just went in to Scottsdale Fashion Square. Its the first in the valley so we are so freaken excited!!!

El atardecer cada vez se pone mas bonito aqui en el valle, y la noche pronto llega. Nos encanta esta temporada del año porque podemos gozar de nuestra ciudad. Dimos un paseo por el centro la otra tarde y encontramos un lindo lugar en donde tomar unas fotos y poder capturar el atardecer.

Los skinnies en estampado de ejercito lucen super bien! La versatilidad que ofrecen es genial porque los puedes lucir casual o mas formal. Estamos super emocionadas por seguir luciendolos durante todo el otoño. Esta vez decidimos lucir los un poco mas formal y los combinamos con una blusa chiffon con detalles en el cuello y unos tacones de charol. El bolso es la pieza mas nueva de nuestra coleccion de bolsas, una compra que hicimos en la nueva tienda de ZARA que habrieron en el centro comercial Scottsdale Fashion Square. La tienda es la primera en el valle y estamos super emocionadas por tenerla!!!

THE SOL SISTERS STYLE- A LITTLE BIT OF LEOPARD

I have been on a personal mission the last few weeks to post more of my daily looks. It all started with some shoe shelving I installed in my dressing room and I am having way more fun seeing them all on display ready to be the day's pick! It has been keeping me busy preparing and sharing more looks but its also been very fun getting to wear some of my heels that have been in hiding and with some really low mileage.

Liz and I took a stroll to Mill Ave. in Tempe in search of a spot to shoot my look. It was so nice to shoot in cooler temperatures. We are enjoying every minute of it! In this look we are showcasing some great pieces that we will be transitioning from summer into fall. The military vest is such a great layering piece and the skirt will easily work for fall looks. A few accessories introduced a bit of pattern and texture to the look.

Las ultimas semanas he estado en una mission personal de compartir mas looks al diario. Todo empezo con un par de zapateras que instale en mi vestidor y la verdad es que es super divertido el tenerlos en exhibicion listos para ser el par del dia! Me he mantenido bastante ocupada  preparando y compartiendo mas looks pero a la misma vez ha sido super divertido el poder ponerme tacones que se han mantenido escondidos y que tienen muy poco millaje.

Liz y yo nos dimos una vuelta a la avenida Mill en Tempe en busca de un lugar para tomar fotos. Fue mas agradable tomar fotos en temperaturas mas frias. Estamos disfrutando cada minuto! En este look combinamos 2 piezas que facilmente haran la transicion de verano a otoño. El chaleco militar es una gran pieza para crear capas y la falda de Simply Be facilmente se prestara para looks de otoño. Un par de accesorios introdujeron un poco de estampado y textura al look.

One Piece Three Ways- Chambray Blouse

Hello Lovelies! As we start transitioning our winter clothes back into storage and begin to wear lighter clothing, its always great when you can find those key pieces that work well for that transitioning time...you know when its not too hot and not too cold. We sometimes find it challenging to find key pieces that do just that...transition us between seasons! I have selected one item that fits this perfectly and have styled it three different ways. You could easily add a cardigan or light weight jacket for those chili nights. This blouse is light weight, versatile, stylish and affordable!!

Hola Lindas!! Estamos llegando a la hora donde el guardaropa de invierno se empieza a almacenar y optamos por utilizar prendas mas ligeras. Es esencial encontrar prendas que permitan la transicion de invierno a primavera cuando el clima no esta muy frio ni muy caliente. Como se acerca esa temporada yo fui en busca de la prenda perfecta y con ella he creado tres looks differentes. Facilmente puedes agregar un sueter o una chamara ligera para esas noches frescas. La blusa es ligera, versatil, a la moda y economica!

When in Venice...

Hello Lovelies! Today we bring you part two of our Europe series- Venice, Italy

Our experience in this magical city was memorable beyond what we could have predicted...it was the shortest visit of our trip but it did not fall short of impressive!

Since the first time we visited the city we knew it couldn't be the last, the labyrinth feel of their streets is full of shops and cafes that leave you wanting to take in more and more of the unique looking city. During this visit we went in to a great little Venetian mask shop with such unique treasures we knew we had to include one in our shoot somehow...

The shop owner had as much fun as us picking the perfect one for Maylene to wear!

The look for this shoot consisted of a favorite of ours...the tuxedo blazer! We paired the blazer with a silk dress that showcased a beaded neckline and hemline detail...just the right amount of bling! The final details included the ankle strap bow heels, more bling in the form of a beaded headband and a vibrant blue clutch for a fun pop of color.

Hola Lindas! Hoy les traemos parte dos de nuestra serie de Europa- Venezia, Italia

Nuestra aventura en esta ciudad tan magica fue mas memorable de lo que pudimos predicar...fue la visita mas corta de nuestro viaje pero no decepciono!

Desde la primera vez que visite esta ciudad me imagine que no seria la ultima, el laberinto de calles estan llenas de tiendas y cafés que solo te dejan queriendo mas y mas de esta singular ciudad. Durante esta visita entramos a una pequeña tienda de mascaras venecianas con tesoros realmente unicos y no perdimos la oportunidad de incluir una pieza en nuestra sesion...

El dueño de la tienda se divertio al igual que nosotras en escoger la mascara perfecta para Maylene!

El look para esta sesion consistio de una de nuestra piezas favoritas...el blazer estilo tuxedo! Combinamos el blazer con un vestido de seda con detalles de piedreria en el cueyo y la bastilla...la cantidad perfecta de brillo! Los detalles finales incluyeron unas zapatillas con moño, mas brillo en forma de diadema y un bolso brillante de color azul.

Esperemos que disfruten "cuando en Venezia" tanto como nosotras...

and then there was GLAMOUR Magazine...

Hello Lovelies! Today we are doing a very special post about something that has had us smiling from ear to ear the last couple of days...

It all started a few months back with an email. I was sitting going through our Sol Sisters inbox that particular morning when I came across an email from GLAMOUR magazine...I paused, and remember thinking is this for real...its probably spam mail! Thank goodness I continued to read!! The email was from the recruiting editor of the magazine and she was inviting us to participate in a shoot they were doing with bloggers in our area...We immediately got to work on the look.

We were in disbelief the whole time we were there doing the shoot...It was just too cool!!

Fast forward to a few days ago... 

I am sitting in my office thinking the February issue should be out now! I then get on my iPad and and there it was...the article showcases two other lovely ladies and Liz who's rocking the white tuxedo blazer and totally representing our style and blog!!

We feel so happy, excited, honored and empowered to have had this experience and even happier we can finally share it on the blog with all of our readers!

We encourage you to go out and get a copy for yourself...it is full of all kinds of goodies!

Hola Lindas! Hoy compartiremos con ustedes un post muy especial...algo que nos ha echo sonreir de oreja a oreja estos ultimos dias...

Todo empezo hace unos meses atras mientras leia un correo electronico. Revisaba el inbox de Sol Sisters cuando llegue a un correo de la revista GLAMOUR...recuerdo que en ese momento cuestione la autentidad del correo...Doy las gracias que si me anime a seguir leyendo!! El correo era de parte de la editora de reclutamiento para la revista y era para invitarnos a participar en una sesion de fotos que estarian haciendo con bloggeras en nuestra area. Inmediatamente nos pusimos a trabajar.

El dia de la sesion de fotos no podiamos creer lo que estabamos haciendo...Realmente increible!

Hagamos un adelanto a hace unos dias atras...

Estoy sentada en mi oficina y me pongo a contemplar si la edicion del mes de Febrero ya salio a la venta...rapido corro por el iPad y alli esta...el articulo muestra a dos lindas chicas y a Liz luciendo un blazer estilo tuxedo y representando el estilo de Sol Sisters y nuestro blog!!

Nos sentimos sumamente felizes, emocionadas, con gran honor y fortalecidas por haber tenido esta experiencia y todavia mas felizes que lo podemos compartir con todas ustedes!

Gracias a todas por todo el apoyo que no han brindado...lo es todo para nosotras!!

When in Rome...

Hello Lovelies! We hope that the new year is treating you all fabulously!!

We are very excited to be sharing with you a series of special sidekick sessions we did with our friend Maylene! We did some traveling to Europe for the holidays and could not resist the idea of shooting some outfits during our trip.

The shoots took place in Rome/Venice, Italy and Paris, France

This is the first of three shoots that we did on our trip-Rome.

This city if full of everything!! History, Beauty, Hope, Faith, Tradition and more...

It was such an experience being there for Christmas that we had to take advantage and style Maylene with an appropriate look for Christmas Eve dinner!

We wanted this look to be classic and modern all in one. It all started with the gorgeous sequin jacket, the cut of it is fantastic and nothing says holiday cheer quite like sequins does! We wanted to draw in the classic elements so we paired the jacket with this gorgeous fitted knee length Zara dress and adding a belt allowed us to create a more fitted and feminine look by enhancing Maylene's waistline. The accessories were just enough to add that "I'm ready to party vibe" we wanted it to convey.

Hola Lindas!! Esperemos que el año nuevo las este tratando de maravilla!!

Estamos super emocionadas de compartir con ustedes una series de sesiones de sidekick que hicimos con nuestra amiga Maylene! Viajamos a Europa durante los dias festivos y no pudimos resistir la idea de tomar fotos de algunos outfits durante nuestro viaje.

Las sesiones fueron en Roma/Venezia, Italia y Paris, Fracia

Esta es la primera sesion de tres que hicimos durante el viaje-Roma.

Esta ciudad esta llena de todo!! Historia, Belleza, Esperanza, Fe, Tradicion y mas...

Fue una experiencia unica el estar alli durante Navidad y aprovechamos para crear un look que Maylene pudiera usar para la cena de Noche Buena!

Quisimos que el look fuera clasico y moderno a la misma vez. Todo empezo con la hermosa chamara de lentejuela, el corto de la chamara es increible y nada dice Navidad como la lentejuela! Quisimos agregar elementos clasicos al look por lo cual combinamos la chamara con un vestido de Zara que es ajustado al cuerpo y hasta a la rodilla y agregamos un cinturon para crear una silueta femenina al crear un enfoque a su cintura. Los accessiorios fueron suffieciente para crear ese toque de "estoy lista para clebrar" que qusimos envocar.

Esperemos que hayan disfrutado de su Noche Buena como nosotras...
