How is summer treating you? It's pretty hot here...everyday literally! We are challenged every summer not to loose sight of being fashionable just because its too hot to wear clothes. I wanted to get back to basics with this post because shorts are a true staple of summer and what better way to spotlight them than with the popular tropical print trend we are seeing all over the place.

Como te esta tratando el verano? Aquí sigue bastante caliente...todos los días! Cada verano es un reto  no perder el interés por la moda simplemente porque hace demasiada calor para portar ropa. Yo quise regresar a lo más básico con este post porque los shorts son un verdadero símbolo del verano y que mejor manera de destacarlos que con la tendencia popular del estampado tropical que vemos por todos lados.

He creado 3 looks alrededor de estos divertidos shorts con estampado tropical. El estampado realmente se presta para lucir se con una multitud de tops y zapatos. Aquí les muestro 3 looks que serían ideal para esas vacaciones!! No crees que cada look grita Maui! Yo bien lista...

Metal Accents

For this outfit we played off the masculine tuxedo look and paired it up with very bold strong accessories. The shorts were the starting point and to balance the outfit out we decided to use a sheer blouse which is a staple piece in our closet. Layering up the silver tone necklaces definitely gave the outfit a bolder feel and the metal studs on the bag played off the strong masculine mood.  We chose a black heel to flatter the overall look and we love how it reminds us of how feminine and masculine pieces can work together.

Para este outfit decidimos ir con un look masculino de un tuxedo y ponerlo junto a accessorios que fueran prominentes e intensos. Nuestro punto de partida fueron los shorts y para poner balance en el outfit decidimos usar una blusa blanca ligera la cual es una pieza esensial en nuestro closet. Los collares puestos uno encima del otro dieron al outfit un feel muy atrevido y la bolsa con adornos de clavo mantuvieron el estilo masculino. Decidimos usar zapatillas negras las cuales hicieron que el look en general mantuviera el balance de piezas femeninas y masculinas trabajando juntas y complementandose la una al otro.
