The Sol Sisters were able to go on a weekend trip this past labor day weekend to Rocky Point, Mexico where we took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and created a photo shoot around the color, textures, clothes for the occasion, and accessories. We had fun together and wanted to present to you two different ways to wear fun floral headbands and still showcase our own style.

Sol Sisters fueron a un viaje a Puerto Penasco, Mexico este fin de semana pasado. Aprovechamos el bello ambiente y creamos una sesion de fotos alrededor de los colores, texturas, ropa para la ocasion, y accesorios. Nos divirtimos como siempre y les mostramos dos formas diferentes de ponerse la diadema floral mostrando nuestro propio estilo al mismo tiempo.

One Piece Three Ways- Floral Print Shorts

How is summer treating you? It's pretty hot here...everyday literally! We are challenged every summer not to loose sight of being fashionable just because its too hot to wear clothes. I wanted to get back to basics with this post because shorts are a true staple of summer and what better way to spotlight them than with the popular tropical print trend we are seeing all over the place.

I have styled 3 looks around these fun tropical printed shorts. The print really lends itself to be worn with a multitude of tops and shoes. Here I show you 3 looks that would be so perfect for that summer getaway!! Doesn't each look just scream Maui! I'm in...

Como te esta tratando el verano? Aquí sigue bastante caliente...todos los días! Cada verano es un reto  no perder el interés por la moda simplemente porque hace demasiada calor para portar ropa. Yo quise regresar a lo más básico con este post porque los shorts son un verdadero símbolo del verano y que mejor manera de destacarlos que con la tendencia popular del estampado tropical que vemos por todos lados.

He creado 3 looks alrededor de estos divertidos shorts con estampado tropical. El estampado realmente se presta para lucir se con una multitud de tops y zapatos. Aquí les muestro 3 looks que serían ideal para esas vacaciones!! No crees que cada look grita Maui! Yo bien lista...

When in Paris...

Bonjour Lovelies, happy Monday! 

Today we bring you the third and final part of our Europe series-Paris, France.

I think Paris is one of those few cities in the world that everyone hopes to visit one day...something about it just entices you and after you have roamed its streets you can understand when people say no other place can compare...

We fell in love all over again...with the architecture, their delicious pastries, the shopping and it's cafes

...just simply with the Parisian way of life!

We were dying to use this hounds-tooth jacket this season so when it came time to decide what to do in Paris we knew this was it! The structure of the jacket is so fun and stylish that we wanted to play off that feel with the whole look. We paired the jacket with the faux leather leggings and some suede ankle boots for that fun feel. The infinity scarf and bag add just enough color and texture to mix up the look.

Hola Lindas, Feliz Lunes!

Hoy les traemos la tercera y ultima parte de la series de Europa-Paris, Francia.

Creo que Paris es una de esas pocas ciudades en el mundo al cual todos algun dia desearian visitar...algo de ella te atrae y despues de que has caminado sus calles puedes entender cuando las personas dicen que no hay otro lugar que se compare...

Nos enamoramos nuevamente...con la arquitectura, sus deliciosos postres, lugares de compras, y los cafes...simplemente con su forma de vivir!

Nos moriamos por usar esta chaqueta con diseño de hounds-tooth esta temporada y cuando se llego el momento de decidir que vestir en Paris ya la teniamos en mente! El diseño de la chaqueta es tan divertido y a la moda que fue la combinacion ideal para seguir con el resto del look. Combinamos la chaqueta con unos leggings de piel y botines para ese toque divertido. La bufanda y el bolso añaden suficiente color y textura para crear una mexcla ideal.

Sidekick- Maylene in Paradise

   

We are excited to bring you another one of our Sidekick sessions! This time we had the lovely opportunity to shoot our beautiful friend Maylene! We took a trip just recently to a lovely little town off the Baja California coast in Mexico and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to do our shoot. 

The picturesque scenery and all the of the beautiful colors surrounding us were a great inspiration for our look. In keeping with a very authentic feel we decided to use this bright orange blouse with an equally toned necklace also in a rich turquoise. We paired the blouse with some easy going denim skinny jeans to give the outfit a casual vacation feel. The additional accessories like the Bermuda hat, ring and sunglasses finished off the look. 

Maylene just like all our previous sidekicks you were such a pleasure to work with!! We can't be any more pleased with the results...you made our job very difficult when it came to narrowing down the final shots ( as you can see we weren't that great at it ). Thank you for being such a fun model...we love you!

Estamos super emocionadas de presentarles otra sesion de Sidekicks! Esta vez tuvimos el placer de trabajar con nuestra hermosa amiga Maylene! Hace poco tomamos unas vacaciones a un pueblito muy lindo en el norte de Baja California en Mexico y pensamos que seria una perfecta oportunidad para hacer la sesion.  

El pintoresco paisaje y todos los hermosos colores que nos rodeaban fueron gran inspiracion para nuestro look. Para mentener un look autentico decidimos usar esta blusa color naranja con un collar color turquesa igual de intenso. Combinamos la blusa con unos skinny jeans para darle al outfit un look mas relajado y apropiado para unas ricas vacaciones. Los accesorios adicionales como el sobrero Bermuda, anillo y lentes de sol le dieron el toque final al look.

Maylene fue un gran placer trabajar contigo! No podemos estar mas encantadas con los resultados...hiciste nuestro trabajo mas dificil cuando llego la hora de escojer las fotos para el post ( como puedes ver no tuvimos tanta suerte con eso). Gracias por ser una modelo tan divertida...te queremos!
