Hello!!!! Sol Sisters are excited to bring you the newest styling session. We had a blast this last time styling, shooting, finding a cool location, and of course sharing with all of you! We feel so blessed that we are able to communicate some of our passion for fashion by putting looks together and being creative all around.

 

Hola!!!! Sol Sisters estan emocionadas en traerles nuestra nueva adicion de la session de styling que tuvimos. Nos divertimos tanto al estilizar el look, tomar las fotos, encontrar la locacion, y por supuesto el compartir con ustedes nuestra creacion! Nos sentimos tan bendecidas de poder comunicarnos y comunicar nuestra passion de la moda al crear nuevos looks.

Sol Sisters Style- Sedona Wedding

Hello dears! I was invited to a wedding in Sedona and my girlfriend set the tone for my weekend outfit. The bride to be was going to wear a beautiful contemporary wedding dress with cowboy boots. I have to admit definitely not my first choice for a wedding event but Inez and I definitely had fun styling the outfit and accessories. We picked my lace salmon dress, cowboy boots, hoop earrings, modern shades, and a high bun to continue with a fun feeling for the whole outfit.

Hola queridas! Fui invitada a una boda en Sedona y mi amiga que se iba a casar puso el tono del outfit que me iba a poner. La novia iba a usar un hermoso vestido de novia con un feel contemporario y botas de cowboy. Tengo que admitir que el usar botas de cowboy para una boda no seria mi primera opcion pero Inez y yo nos divertimos al crear el outfit para la boda. Escogimos el vestido de color salmon, botas de vaquero, arracadas, lentes de sol modernas, y un chongo alto para continuar el look de diversion.

When in Venice...

Hello Lovelies! Today we bring you part two of our Europe series- Venice, Italy

Our experience in this magical city was memorable beyond what we could have predicted...it was the shortest visit of our trip but it did not fall short of impressive!

Since the first time we visited the city we knew it couldn't be the last, the labyrinth feel of their streets is full of shops and cafes that leave you wanting to take in more and more of the unique looking city. During this visit we went in to a great little Venetian mask shop with such unique treasures we knew we had to include one in our shoot somehow...

The shop owner had as much fun as us picking the perfect one for Maylene to wear!

The look for this shoot consisted of a favorite of ours...the tuxedo blazer! We paired the blazer with a silk dress that showcased a beaded neckline and hemline detail...just the right amount of bling! The final details included the ankle strap bow heels, more bling in the form of a beaded headband and a vibrant blue clutch for a fun pop of color.

Hola Lindas! Hoy les traemos parte dos de nuestra serie de Europa- Venezia, Italia

Nuestra aventura en esta ciudad tan magica fue mas memorable de lo que pudimos predicar...fue la visita mas corta de nuestro viaje pero no decepciono!

Desde la primera vez que visite esta ciudad me imagine que no seria la ultima, el laberinto de calles estan llenas de tiendas y cafés que solo te dejan queriendo mas y mas de esta singular ciudad. Durante esta visita entramos a una pequeña tienda de mascaras venecianas con tesoros realmente unicos y no perdimos la oportunidad de incluir una pieza en nuestra sesion...

El dueño de la tienda se divertio al igual que nosotras en escoger la mascara perfecta para Maylene!

El look para esta sesion consistio de una de nuestra piezas favoritas...el blazer estilo tuxedo! Combinamos el blazer con un vestido de seda con detalles de piedreria en el cueyo y la bastilla...la cantidad perfecta de brillo! Los detalles finales incluyeron unas zapatillas con moño, mas brillo en forma de diadema y un bolso brillante de color azul.

Esperemos que disfruten "cuando en Venezia" tanto como nosotras...

In the spirit of celebrating that its officially fall we decided to throw on this very appropriate look! We had been shopping for the perfect staple pieces for fall and came across these fun boyfriend jeans, it was instantly  that we knew we had to shoot them next. The striped blouse was feminine and masculine all at once and the loose fit of it made so much sense when we threw the fitted blazer over it. Working with a black and white scheme, we were in need of some color and the yellow heels and clutch added the perfect amount.

En el espiritu que estamos celebrando de que ya es oficialmente otoño decidimos compartir este look con ustedes! Fuimos en busca de las piezas escenciales para crear el guardarropa de otoño y encontramos estos boyfriend jeans. Inmediatamente empezamos a crear un outfit con los jeans. La blusa con rayas es femenina y masculina al mismo tiempo y el hecho de que queda suelta tuvo sentido el usar un saco ajustado.Usando un esquema negro y blanco, tuvimos la necesidad de agregar algo de color y las zapatillas amarillas y el bolso complementaron la cantidad de color perfecto.

Sidekick-Desert Sunsets

Hello guys! We want to introduce you to our next sidekick Bethany. We are very excited to finally share with you our session with her! Styling from Bethany's wardrobe was a fun experience and we were thrilled she was so eager to let us create a Sol Sister's look. During the search Bethany pointed out this great Prada jacket she had recently added to her closet. The idea of using it for the first time let us to style around it. The details from the texture and color of the jacket were interesting enough to let it be the focal point and the additional pieces were purposely left understated. The clutch was simply a surprise factor that allowed us to introduce a pop of color while the necklace gave the look a dressier feel.

Thank you Bethany for allowing us to play dress up with you! You are definitely a natural and made our job easier...

Hola a todos! Les queremos presentar a nuestra siguiente sidekick Bethany. Estamos emocionadas en compartirles nuestra sesion con ella. Fue una experiencia divertida el poder trabajar dentro del guardaropa de Bethany y estilizarla. Bethany estuvo emocionada en dejarnos crear un look al estilo Sol Sisters. Durante la busqueda, ella nos mostro un saco de Prada que habia recientemente adquirido. Decidimos usar el saco por primera vez por que nos encantaron los detalles del saco como la textura y el color. Estos detalles  fueron lo suficientemente interesantes para ser el punto focal del look, las piezas adicionales que escogimos quisimos que no llamaran la atencion. El bolso fue un factor sorpresa que alladio un pop de color mientras el collar le dio un toque mas de vestir.

Gracias a Bethany por permitirnos que te arreglaramos! Eres definitivamente una natural e hiciste nuestro trabajo mas facil...
