Hello!!!! Sol Sisters are excited to bring you the newest styling session. We had a blast this last time styling, shooting, finding a cool location, and of course sharing with all of you! We feel so blessed that we are able to communicate some of our passion for fashion by putting looks together and being creative all around.

 

Hola!!!! Sol Sisters estan emocionadas en traerles nuestra nueva adicion de la session de styling que tuvimos. Nos divertimos tanto al estilizar el look, tomar las fotos, encontrar la locacion, y por supuesto el compartir con ustedes nuestra creacion! Nos sentimos tan bendecidas de poder comunicarnos y comunicar nuestra passion de la moda al crear nuevos looks.

Arizona Blogger Conference 2013

I'm starting with a great big HELLO!! It feels great to be back here again...

We have been very fortunate this past year to have participated in some really great events. Our most recent one and probably most influential up to date was the Arizona Blogger Conference held just last weekend. We love being around fashion and all the industry's people but it feels like home when you are completely surrounded by your kind-bloggers. The ABC 2013 was held by Phoenix Style Collective for its second year at the Palomar Hotel in down town Phoenix.

The evening began with a very interactive social setting, great food, a fun photo booth (pics at the bottom), cool vendor stations, swanky prizes and an awesome group of fellow bloggers ready to mingle!

Between sharing blog recaps, updating our social apps and snapping group pictures there simply just wasn't enough greeting time to get to everyone. Nonetheless we were very pleased to have reconnected with a few bloggers and met some amazing new ones that night! We are so happy to now be surrounded by such creative, inspiring, and fun group of gals... if you have a minute head on over and check them out!!

She ended with talking about the importance

-The in's and out's of making money in blogging

-Offering your readers something valuable with everything you do

Jessie most importantly shared the value in staying true to yourself and your blog!

We were greeted with Hello gift bags full of awesome goodies!!

Some of the fun treats included The Dry Bar perfect blowout treatment samples, Kate Spade Live Color Fully eau de parfum spray, Hempz's pomegranate herbal body wash & moisturizer, Le Mode Accessories bow stud earings, Activate Vitamin Water and many other fun things...

Sparkly Sunset-Atardecer Brilloso!

Sol Sisters find themselves being so blessed to know great people (this time specifically-Amber Aguilar owner of Bella Bridal) that allow us to work on being creative and having so much fun styling clothing pieces. Inez approached our good friend Amber if we could style one of her beautiful gowns for one of our photo-shoots. Amber is the owner of Bella Bridal Boutique in Downtown Mesa, if you guys are in the area definitely pay her a visit her gowns are to die for! She happily accepted and gave us one of her most favorite dresses for us to get creative with. We decided to do the unexpected and do Liz's hair in a fish tail braid instead of a more glamorous hairdo, purple color lipstick and a pair of Ray-Bans to go with the ensemble. Liz felt like a million bucks ready for the red carpet :)

Sol Sisters tienen la gran bendicion de tener buenisimops amigos/amigas (esta vez especificamente estamos hablando de nuestra amiga Amber Aguilar-duena de Bella Bridal) ke nos permiten expresar nuestra creatividad y ser creativas al estilizar diferentes piezas de ropa. Inez consulto con Amber y le pregunto si podiamos hacer style un vestido de noche para uno de nuestros photoshoots. Amber quien es la duena de Bella Bridal Boutique en el centro de Mesa felizmente acepto nuestra propuesta y nos presto uno de sus vestidos favoritos. Decidimos hacer algo inesperado y creamos una trenza de cola de pescado en vez de un estilo mas de glamour, color de labios purpura, y unos Ray Ban. Liz se sintio que estaba lista para la alfombra roja con este hermoso vestido :)

Global Bloggers Sol Sisters Love!

Sol Sisters love the blog called: A Style Enthused Young Woman. This blog is ballsy, chic, funky, edgy, elegant, modern, classic, so fun!!! So many more adjectives could describe what this Enthused Young Woman's style portrays through her own clothes and pictures of people she loves. Sol Sisters are glad they found her blog and use her as an inspiration for more ideas to come and flourish through some of our outfits.

Oh Marilyn - Pop Art Challenge

So here we are again....challenge time! Let's just say this was not an easy one...for sure a "challenge" but nonetheless very fun to style once we had our main piece. This weeks challenge hosted by Nany's Klozet, Flor de Maria and Ashes into Fashion consisted of wearing "pop-art". Its such a fun trend to wear, not a boring piece in sight and with color to last you for days...

Our main piece was this pop-art inspired shirt dress showcasing the iconic Marilyn Monroe. We couldn't resist the idea of edging it out so we paired it with these faux leather leggings and ankle boots. The final details consisted of indie looking necklace, tons of rings and hat.

Aqui estamos una vez mas...un reto nuevo! Les diremos que esta vez no fue tan facil...definitivamente un "reto" pero sin embargo super divertido ya que escogimos nuestra pieza principal. El reto de esta semana era de usar alguna pieza de "pop-art" en tu look organizado por las chikas de Nany's Klozet, Flor de Maria, y Ashes into Fashion. Es una tendencia muy divertida de usar, dificil de encontrarte con una pieza aburrida y simpre llena de colores para durarte bastante dias...

Nuestra pieza principal fue esta camisa-vestido mostrando la icónica Marilyn Monroe con una inspiracion pop-art. No pudimos resistir  la idea de darle un look rockero y la combinamos con estos pantalones y botines negros. Los toques finales incluyeron un collar, bastantes anillos y un sobrero.
