When in Rome...

Hello Lovelies! We hope that the new year is treating you all fabulously!!

We are very excited to be sharing with you a series of special sidekick sessions we did with our friend Maylene! We did some traveling to Europe for the holidays and could not resist the idea of shooting some outfits during our trip.
The shoots took place in Rome/Venice, Italy and Paris, France

This is the first of three shoots that we did on our trip-Rome.
This city if full of everything!! History, Beauty, Hope, Faith, Tradition and more...
It was such an experience being there for Christmas that we had to take advantage and style Maylene with an appropriate look for Christmas Eve dinner!

We wanted this look to be classic and modern all in one. It all started with the gorgeous sequin jacket, the cut of it is fantastic and nothing says holiday cheer quite like sequins does! We wanted to draw in the classic elements so we paired the jacket with this gorgeous fitted knee length Zara dress and adding a belt allowed us to create a more fitted and feminine look by enhancing Maylene's waistline. The accessories were just enough to add that "I'm ready to party vibe" we wanted it to convey.
We hope you enjoy your Christmas as much as we did...

What was your Christmas Eve outfit like?

Hola Lindas!!

xoxo Sol Sisters

Girl in Lace-Chica en Encaje

When special occasions or events come up you always look forward to dressing up! We had this cute lace dress that was our inspiration for today’s look. We wanted the look to have an evening feel to it. We decided to pair the dress with these silk heels that showcase feminine details along with the black belt which created more of a waistline and brought in feminine elements to the look. The additional accessories where added to accentuate the overall feel. In regards to the closed-toe heels we felt the look was more appropriate for a cocktail attire like event but if you wanted the look to be somewhat fun and less formal a simple change of shoes, perhaps like an open-toe look, could give you that effect.
