Beauty Thursdays-What is beauty?

Hello dolls! Today I was getting ready to write about a beauty product...I was thinking to share with all of you some of my new additions from ULTA, Sally's, or MAC and share what I have found that works for me...but then I stopped myself and started dwelling on the question "What is Beauty?" I changed gears and this post may be somewhat deeper than what you are used to reading from us...but I still wanted to share my thoughts and feelings with y'all.

I know that after having kids I learned to love my imperfections. Believe me, I sometimes still criticize parts of my body (everyone around me hates it when I do it and I don't like it when other women do the same with themselves) but I just remind myself of how it is OK to be perfectly imperfect. To be perfectly imperfect is what makes everyone unique, beautiful, powerful, and lovely.

The Sol Sisters truly believe women are gorgeous. We want to help women believe  in their own beauty and that was one of the main reasons we started our blog. It does not matter your style, skin color, size, background, none of that. We all are beautiful in our own way. Remember to always like your imperfections and thank them because they just made you "one of a kind" completely unique and beautiful to the world around you.

Hola Munecas! Hoy me estaba preparando para escribir acerca de varios productos de belleza que he comprador en ULTA, Sally’s, y MAC. Al empezar a escribir empece a pensar en la pregunta ‘que es la belleza?” cambie de direccion y les voy a advertir que talvez este post sea un poco mas profundo de lo que estan acostumbradas a leer de nosotras. Pero al mismo tiempo quiero compartir mis pensamientos y mis sentimientos con todas ustedes.

Se que despues de tener a mis hijos aprendi a amar mis imperfecciones. Creanme, todavia me critic mi fisico (todos alrededor de mi les choca cuando lo hago, y aqui entre nos…a mi tambien me choca cuando mis amigas se critican a ellas mismas) pero siempre me digo a mi misma que no hay nada de malo en ser perfectamente imperfect. El ser perfectamente imperfect es lo que nosh ace ser unicas, hermosas, ponderosas, y amorosas.

Las Sol Sisters sinceramente creen que las mujeres son hermosas! Nosotras queremos ayudar a las mujeres a que crean en su propia belleza. Esa fue una de las razones principals por las que comenzamos nuestro blog. No importa tu estilo, tu color de piel, tu talla, tu pasado, nada de eso importa. Todas somos hermosas en nuestra propia manera. Recuerda en siempre apreciar tus imperfecciones y agradecerle a esas imperfecciones por que ellas fueron las que te hicieron ser unica. Completamente unica y Hermosa para tu  mundo alrededor de ti

Beauty Thursdays- Clarisonic Opal

Liz of Sol Sisters wanted to share some of her favorite new products she has been using for the last couple of months. I want to be clear I have not been compensated for providing my true and honest opinion about the product below.

Liz de Sol Sisters queria compartir con ustedes uno de sus productos favoritos que ha estado usando por los ultimos meses. Quiero que sea claro que no hemos sido compensadas por la compania para proveer nuestra verdadera y honesta opinion en cuanto al producto en cuestion.

I started using Clarisoninc Opal at the beginning of this year after doing research on products that help with under eye bags, tighter skin, and overall skin rejuvenation. I have to say my skin definitely looks way more refreshed, tighter, and with more glow. The serum that comes with the Clarisonic Opal really makes a difference in what the skin looks like. I have tried other creams (I have to admit paying $65 seemed somewhat costly for just a 1.7oz serum bottle) but the anti-aging sea serum really works. I like how my under eye area feels and looks after applying the serum.
My momma always told me to invest and buy good products for your skin and face. I would personally recommend investing in the Clarisonic Opal due to the results I have seen in my own face. Definitely, do your research and acquire what works best for you and your type of skin but like I said, my skin has definitely improved since I started using the Clarisonic Opal 6 months ago. Empece a usar Clarisoninc Opal l principio de este anio despues de haber investigado varios productos que ayudaran con las bolsas que aparecen debajo de los ojos, con una piel mas firme, y con un look de piel mas rejuvenecida. Tengo que admitir que mi piel se ve definitivamente mas joven, mas firme, y hasta con un extra brillo. El suero que viene con el Clarisonic de verdad que hace la diferencia en como se ve la piel. He tratado otras cremas (debo que admitir que pagar $65 por una botellita de 1.7oz se me hacia caro) pero el suero anti-arrugas en serio que funciona. Me gusta como me ha dejado mi area debajo de mis ojos y como se siente mi piel despues de aplicar el suero.
Mi mamita siempre me dijo que invirtiera en buenos productos para mi piel y en especial para mi cara. Personalmente, recomiendo que si tienen la oportunidad en invertir en el Clarisonic Opal debido a los resultados que yo he notado en mi propia piel. Claro esta hagan su propia investigacion en cuanto a que producto funcionaria mejor para su tipo de piel, pero como les he dicho...mi piel definitivamente ha mejorado su look desde que empece a usar Clarisonic Opal hace 6 meses. Tienen un producto favorito que les gustaria compartir con Sol Sisters?
